Hi everyone. Haven't updated in a while, but I'm still here! 2010 was an eventful year, featuring a move out to central New Jersey. I now am happy to offer lessons out of my own home studio for the Somerset County and surrounding areas. As for show work, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take over "Promises, Promises" on Broadway (with Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes) when the original drummer took another gig. Now that it's the new year, I am thrilled to be back with my friends at "Avenue Q" and we're still going strong. Come see us at New World Stages! Looking forward to new opportunities throughout 2011, and expecting a baby boy in May!!

And I'm on it! Be sure to check out Tommy's new DVD "Great Hands for a Lifetime." I had the honor of appearing on this project, representing a student of Tommy's who is now a professional musician. Tommy assembled a small group of his students, displaying varying levels of advancement. It's all hands, it's all practice pad and quite a workout.

Hey, speaking of Tommy, I will be subbing on performances of The Lion King for Tommy in the very near future.

Other than that, I've been just maintaining a very full schedule at Avenue Q.

Hi everyone. Greetings from Tucson, Arizona. I'm very pleased to announce that I will be on drums for the new Off-Broadway production of Avenue Q. The fact that this production is even happening was a real exciting surprise to everyone involved...and now be offered the full-time gig is just fantastic. So I hope you will come check it out once it's up and running, which will be next month already. As for being in Tucson... I have been filling in on the national tour of Spamalot, with this being my third of three weeks with them. In the past two weeks, I also played San Diego and San Jose. It's been a real pleasure to play this music again and I've been having a great time working with the traveling musicians here. FYI, I will be returning to New York on Monday 9/28. Keep checking out my youtube page at: www.youtube.com/drummingjoe. New stuff will be posted very soon.
